This significant milestone marks the end of a challenging period filled with various hurdles and irregularities that delayed the process.

The cooperative's leadership and members expressed profound relief and gratitude as the long-awaited official recognition was granted. "This certification is not just a piece of paper; it's a testament to the resilience and dedication of our officers and members who have worked tirelessly to reach this point,".

In a remarkable display of community unity and environmental stewardship, four (4) local clubs from the Fraternal Order of Eagles under Bicol Camarines Sur Region 1—namely, the Mount Isarog Eagles Club, Metro Partido Peninsular Eagles Club, Metro Partido Eagles Club, and Metro Partido Orgullo Eagles Club—collaborated with various local agencies to have a significant impact on the environment. Together with the 331st Airlift Squadron Reserve Personnel, the Local Government Unit of Sagñay, the Solid Waste Management Office (SWMO), the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) of Sagñay, they organized a major mangrove planting event in Barangay San Isidro. This initiative, themed "Save the Planet, Before It's Too Late."

The decision to plant mangroves was a strategic environmental choice. Mangroves are not mere trees; they are biologically rich ecosystems that provide essential services to both the environment and humanity. These trees are crucial for their ability to offer critical habitat for diverse marine species, protect shorelines from the destructive force of waves and storm surges, and sequester carbon dioxide, significantly contributing to the mitigation of climate change effects.

During the event, community volunteers and participants successfully planted 800 mangrove seedlings. Naga City, December 17, 2023 – In a festive gathering that celebrated the spirit of community and giving, the Bicol Camarines Sur Region 1  proudly inducted 23 new members during the BCSR 1 Regional Christmas Party, aptly themed "Dinner for a Cause," held at Primus Hotel, Naga City.

The induction ceremony, a highlight of the evening, was led by BCSR 1 Governor Bobby Matamorosa, who officially welcomed the new members into the fold. This significant expansion of the club’s membership underscores the eagerness of community members to contribute to and participate in the club's philanthropic endeavors.

Originally, the 23 inductees were part of an initiative to form the "Metro Partido Baja Eagles Club," with Kuya Jay Bassig serving as the convenor. However, due to the group not meeting the minimum requirement of 25 members to establish a new club, the Metro Partido Peninsular Eagles Club stepped in to incorporate them as additional members. This gesture of inclusivity not only strengthens the existing club but also lays the groundwork for the eventual establishment of the Metro Partido Baja Eagles Club.
